Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

I work in a professional setting and am looking for a new hair cut or style that will be acceptable in the workplace, but still look young and fresh. (I am 23 yrs old). I have sholder length basically strait (a little wavy) hair. I am willing to lose some length, but I dont want a really short cut. What do ya'll think?

Check out the hair cuts on www.matrix.com

sephora.com has a beauty school section. The focus is on makeup but the models have nice hair cuts and you can get ideas for a totally pulled together look.

Allure %26amp; InStyle are good sources for hair ideas.

You might consider getting a few layers to give your hair some shape and to frame your face differently when you blow dry your hair straight.

If you are good with updos and low ponytails, then keep your hair as long as possible for maximum versatility.

Since you have wavy hair - stay away from short bangs. Too much styling commitment involved.

I have the same issue, especially with clothes %26amp; hair. I have my hair dyed a chestnut brown, with a mix of blonde and caramel highlights, layered a little past my shoulders, the shortest layer starts where my nose is, these are angled layers.

u didnt say if u have long or short neck--long narrow or round face these things affect how u will look in new hair style --go 2 your hair stylist look at her style books and have discussion with her about them

may be a classic cut like just few inches shorter up to your shoulder and straight/ or depend on you face frame a shic layered hair... but you decide it.
