How can i cut my own hair without completely messing it up?

i want to just trim my hair...there are so many split ends...

or please tell me what i can do about the split ends until i get paid so i can go get a hair cut -- get paid once a month (sucks)

i dont use any hot irons on my hair or never use products besides shampoo and leave in conditioner... why do i get split ends?

you get split ends when your hair hasent been trimed in a wile. what I would suggest is takeing all of you hair and just grab the ends if it and try to make a strate cut that should cure your split ends.

i really recommend not doing anything until you see a qualified hairdresser!!

condition it until you can afford to get it cut by a professional otherwise you will mess it up and look worse, and then they will have a hard time fixing it.

if its just a trim, go to a cheap salon-i got mine trimmed, layered and thinned out for just $15 lol

and if you can find a beauty school, that'll be even cheaper, but i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself

Pay $10 at Fantastic Sam's or Super Cuts before you cut your own hair. If you don't have $10 you could probably stand in front of a convenience store bumming for change and make $10 in an hour. Don't cut your own hair is my point.

Dont try to cut it. If you do, u may cut at an angle, which will cause your stylist to have to make u up a style to match the drama uve done or have to cut it even shorter to even it up. Put it in a scrunchie or clip and just wait!

I cut my own hair all the time.

Start out with sharp scissors, turn your head upside down and hold it in a pone tail (if you want layers) and cut as much as you want off. But have an idea in ypur head first want you want.

Then when you have your head straight part it in the middle and pull it to the sides and straighten up the ends you may have missed. It takes a bit of pratice and you may not get it the first time but you will get the hang of it!
