do it!!!! i cut my hair yesterday! i had messed my hair up with trying to lighten it and my hair was so damaged i talked to my husband and i explained how unhappy i was with my hair cause it was very long..but very damaged and breaking i could not do anything with it..he loves long hair but i cut it and i did it myself and i am sooo happy now my hair will grow back and i have already got so many compliments so do it you will be happy and so will he! blessings and huggies!

Have you tried to explain to him the reason for wanting to have this hair cut? Is he just upset with the money aspect of getting it cut or is he opposed to hair cutting? Maybe you can compromise and select a style you both like?

Personally, I would cut my hair the way I see fit...but that is just me, and the relationship I have.

My wifes hair is long and it always has been and I like it that way. If she boy cut it, I'd be pissed and she knows it. However, her hair is also healthy. If your hair is so bad it looks bad, then I'd think he'd want it cut. I'll say this again, men never want their women to change.

Yes, I would still cut my hair. It is not his decision. He does not own your hair and essentially has no rights to what you do with it. I think most men prefer long hair and hate the thought of their significant other cutting it (my husband included). However, I think they always believe it will look worse than it actually does. My husband never wanted me to cut mine and of course I did anyway. It turns out that he liked it. I did not go too short, just above my shoulders. Plus, it will grow back healthy and strong. Let him know that it will look prettier and shinier if it is not brittle (better for him to run his fingers through it).

well my b/f was not so happy when i called him because i wanted to suprise him by getting my hair cut really short and i hated it.. i thought he would give me sympathy and he gave me a little but after a day i wor a nice outfit and he realised that he liked my hair a lot so just make sure you look stunning when you go to show him your hair and i think the last thing he willlook at is your hair(he'll like it eventually if he doesnt to begin w/)

well I'm a husband but i will say my wife does what she wants with her hair..she always ask my opinion but i tell her do what ever you want cause i don't want her telling me to let mine grow long or to get a shaved head....so do this tell him how you want his hair from now on if he wants to tell you how to wear yours.
