beauticians feel free to recommend good products for me pweeeeese, i really dont wanna cut my hair and yes mostly two inches from the ends up are fried, my hair ends at my bra strap. thank you.
Um, i need to know if there is any way to treat really fried hair from perming...without cutting it please??
I'm not a beutition, but i think i might be able to help. There's this brand, called Aussie, i don't know where you live, but they might have it there, it has a kangaroo logo and always has purple on the bottle somewhere... anyways, they make this GREAT deep conditioning conditioner (yeah, it's actually called that around here, very repetative isn't it?) its called
"Aussie Deeeeep 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Treatment "
there's a link in the sources box if you have walgreens by you... there's also shampoos and conditioners made for split ends, and those might help you....
good luck

Everytime my friend gets her hair permed, the stylist always trims the last 1/8th inch or so, because the chemicals really do fry the hair. If your hair is crunchy-fried I don't know that there's much of anything you can do to fix it. The only products I've had luck with are Garnier Fructis conditioner for colored/permed hair and V05 leave-in treatment.

Sebastian Potion 9.
You need to really deep condition now. Although nothing at this point will 'fix it', some product will help it become more manageable.
The Joico K-Pack line is excellent also. Try not to use too much heat on your hair, and wash in cooler water. Once every couple of days, slather your hair in conditioner, bag it or wrap it up, and leave it on for a couple of hours.
And don't get any more chemical processes until the perm has grown out and been cut off, Even if it's a year or so. If your hair is really fried, which I'm imagining it is, you will kill it and turn it to mush if you try anything else.

im a hair stylist for 20 yrs. never seen your hair but i can say at least trim it good with layers (no doubt)! but you very well should deep condition it say with hydrating balm by biolage. 2 to 3 times a week, and difinetly use before styling, silk infusion by chi. anyone who is reading this, this stuff is hands down, awsome! it makes your hair fell like something its not! and you'll have to keep trimming with layes until it grows out. just went through this myself last year.

For a quick 'fix' try an anti frizz serum, it will instantly smooth your hair and not damage it. Avoid using any products with alcohol as an ingredient. Avoid putting shampoo on the ends.
