I jut got a hair cut but my HAIR ALWAYS HANGS there LIMP and BORING?

It has layers with the longest layer being 2 inches blow my shoulders i just got a hair cut but that didn't help. I straighten my hair every other day, but i am tired of doing that and want it to be smooth with a slight curls at the end but with VOLUME, i want to spice my hair up instead of it just lying there

please help me

Get volumizing shampoos and conditioners. Tease your hair a lil bit and then attack it with hairspray :-).
