I need help finding a hair cut before Friday!!!?

Mom made me an appointment to get my hair cut this Friday, but I have NO clue what I want. I know I want to keep it long so I can still put it in a pony tail, but I want it to look "cool" when it's down too.

I don't know....Something layery and kind of punky I guess. I'm not against getting it bleached or dyed (even tho my hair is black...haha. That would be fun to bleach%26lt;/sarcasm%26gt;)

Anyone have any ideas?

Go for long layers; when your hair's down, they'll give movement and keep it from looking heavy and bland. If it's quite long, you could have it cut shorter at your shoulders, and then progressively longer in the back.

Yeah, you can get layers. Not the short layers. Just tell them no shorter than your chin for the shortest layer. if you don't want that, you can just get a 1 inch trim. It's not gonna change the looks of your hair so much. And sometimes, a trim can make your hair look more healthy. If you hair looks unhealthy, ask for a treatment. They'll put moisturizer in your hair and it makes it soooooooooooo soft! I know, it bugs when mom's give you appointments and you don't even know what to do with your hair. lol
